EasyClean – Acetone Replacement

EasyClean is the new generation of acetone replacements which works with polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins. With a solvency rate comparable to acetone in a cold state, heated systems are no longer needed. EasyClean is approved for all hand lay applications and by a number of machine manufacturers. The cleaning agent used, RHODIASOLV® IRIS, is a non-UN, non-flammable, environmentally friendly, non-VOC (volatile organic compound) and is harmless when in contact with skin and is totally non-toxic unlike any other previously existing GRP tool cleaning chemical.

EasyClean – Workstations

Easy Clean workstations offer a low-cost, portable and lightweight solution for maintaining and preparing tools, featuring a durable polypropylene construction with an easy-to-clean, non-stick surface.
Designed specifically for use with Easy Clean, each unit incorporates an air-driven roller drier that leaves rollers completely clean and dry in just one minute, helping operatives work more efficiently at the end of each shift.

Built around a robust 316-grade stainless steel platform, the workstation provides a dedicated area for glass fibre operatives to restore and prepare their tools, ensuring they are ready for the next day’s production. Simple to operate, the system combines a patented chemical cleaning process with a final compressed air drying stage, delivering consistent, reliable results with minimal effort. Safety is integral to the design, with a non-slip stainless steel grid deck, integrated operator protection systems and sealed, intrinsically safe components that meet strict health and safety standards.

A range of configurations is available, including 25L, 50L and 75L units, a space-saving two-operative station for wall placement, and a central four-operative station allowing access from all sides. An ATEX-certified version is also available for use in hazardous environments.
